Building Australia’s trade intelligence infrastructure.

Silexion is an Australian-owned trade intelligence company connecting what is physically moving through trade systems with the data used to describe, govern and understand it.

Physical trade generates information that is still underused.

WHY SILEXION EXISTS

Trade systems have become increasingly digital, but physical cargo screening is still often treated as a point-in-time security or compliance activity. Silexion sees the scan as the beginning of a broader intelligence system: verified imagery can be connected with declaration and operational data, analysed over time and used to support better decisions.

To build trade intelligence infrastructure that helps governments and trade partners see more, understand more and make better decisions without creating unnecessary friction for legitimate trade.

Our ambition

Silexion combines Australian ownership and governance with specialist technology from international partners. The model is designed for government, port and critical infrastructure environments where security, interoperability, auditability and operational performance matter.

Australian capability,
international technology

VMI Australia is a wholly owned subsidiary of Silexion and is the Australian entity responsible for the scanning-based capability. It provides access to VMI Security’s Spectrum Cargo technology and associated operational expertise in the Australian market.
